Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor
Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor is built around a pretty funky
concept (construct webs to catch insects) and it's been executed
well. The visuals are sharp, the controls, for the most part,
are natural and the music, whilst a bit repetitive, complements
the gameplay well. Despite this though, it all gets pretty old
fast. Sure, you have to change up how you catch each insect as
the game progresses, but that doesn't exactly reinvigorate the
gameplay. So while I'm sure there will be people out there who
love the game mechanic enough that they'll adore this game, for
me I had about enough after just a few levels. Admittedly
though, I not a huge fan of casual gaming (just look at my dust
encrusted Wii for proof)
